Therapy Comply, a physical and occupational therapy education and compliance firm, will be presenting a webinar on the Medicare appeals process on May 23rd at 12:00 - 1:00 PM CST and again on May 24th at 12:00 – 1:00 PM CST.  The course will cover appeals for traditional Part A and B as well as appeals for Part C Medicare Advantage Plans.  The first two levels of appeals will be covered, including timeframes for filing, an overview of each step, and tips for preparation.  The course will specifically address topics important for physical and occupational therapists, including documentation and medical necessity.  All attendees will receive a copy of the slides and access to the recording.

  • KX Modifier and ABN after Caps
  • Common issues that result in denials

  • Issues when treating a patient under Advantage Plans, reimbursement rules and non-contracting providers
