The course will detail therapeutic procedures and modalities covered by Medicare and national payers to discuss the specific indications, limitations, and documentation requirements for each service. Utilization guidelines to avoid denials and audits. National Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI) code sets and max units for services.

Zachary has spent the last ten years assisting therapy practices with their compliance issues: federal and state healthcare fraud and abuse laws, state professional and facility licensing issues, HIPAA, employment issues, and Medicare and Medicaid compliance specifically for physical, occupational, and speech therapy practices. Zachary obtained his BA and JD from the University of Arizona and an LLM in healthcare law from Loyola University.
