Physical Therapist - Mint Hill

We have an outstanding opportunity in our Mint Hill Clinic.

Compleat Rehab & Sports Therapy started out as a single outpatient practice offering Physical Therapy in Gastonia, NC in 1987. In the 30 years since, we’ve expanded to more than 15 clinics in North and South Carolina and are continuing to grow. Our patients benefit from a diverse set of programs and specialties, from Lymphedema Treatment to Pelvic Floor Therapy. We commit to improving the lives of all we serve, by providing premier patient care and compassionate, personalized service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Physical Therapy needs are assessed and evaluated for Pelvic Health/Pelvic Floor Dysfunction patient population. i.e. (Pelvic organ prolapse, Postoperative care, Pediatric incontinence or constipation, Pelvic pain Bowel problems, Urinary problems)
  • Treatment plan reflects understanding of patients’ age and situation including discharge plan.
  • Revise treatment plans based on patient progress towards stated goals.
  • Complete documentation in a timely manner and in accordance with facility and practice guidelines.
  • Completes documentation to comply with department, hospital and regulatory standards;
  • Therapy and health care students are oriented, trained, and mentored to achieve stated performance expectations.
  • Performance Improvement opportunities are identified and acted upon as appropriate to implement best practices.
  • Willing to work flexible hours.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Education/Qualifications:

  • One year of experience in an outpatient rehab clinic setting.
  • Graduation with Doctor of Physical Therapy from an accredited Physical Therapist program.
  • Physical Therapy licensure in the state of North Carolina.
  • Evidence of ongoing continuing education in clinical areas.
  • Speaks, writes, reads, and comprehends English. Fluency in other languages a plus.

Physical Demands:

  • Lifting, pushing, pulling, and assisting patients with exercise and patient transfers.
  • Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently.
  • May be exposed to infectious diseases, electricity, and strain from moving or supporting patients.
