How many continuing education hours are required during a reporting period?
Occupational therapists licensed in Arizona must complete twenty (20) hours every two (2) years.
Occupational therapy assistants licensed in Arizona must complete twelve (12) hours every two (2) years.

Course Approval Requirements
Continuing education shall contribute to professional competency and the practice of occupational therapy. The Board shall determine if continuing education hours contribute directly to professional competency and if the continued education hours relate to the clinical practice of occupational therapy.
