Cash-Pay Compliance for Therapy Practices

Therapy Comply, a physical and occupational therapy education and compliance firm, will be presenting a webinar on Cash Pay Compliance for Therapy Practices.  The webinar will be held on and again on April 5th at 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM CDT and again on April 6th at 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM EDT.  This course applies to practices that are cash-only and practices that normally take insurance but want to bill the client directly in certain circumstances.  

The course will be recorded.  All attendees will receive a copy of the slides and access to the recording.  Sample client in-take forms will be handed out.

The course will cover the following topics:

  • Laws that apply and do not apply to cash-only practices
  • Explanation of Medicare Opt-Out, Non-Participating, and Participating Provider rules
  • Collecting payment from clients in government and private payers
  • Collecting payment for noncovered services (Medicare ABN) (Advantage) (Tricare) (Medicaid)
  • No Surprises Act (estimated payments)
  • HIPAA and cash-only practices
  • Tips on attracting new clients and increasing revenue
